CeMAT India prepares to host more than 100 exhibitors

Exhibition program covers the complete range of material handling and logistics products and services.

CeMAT India begins on December 17 at the Pragati Maidan exhibition center in New Delhi with more than 100 exhibiting companies from all over the world.

The exhibition program covers the complete range of material handling and logistics products and services: mechanical handling; storage, warehousing technology and workshop equipment; packing and order picking equipment; logistics systems and software; loading technology; complete systems for material handling, warehousing and logistics; traffic engineering; and logistics services and outsourcing.

There is strong demand for these products in India, where logistics has for many years been one of the most dynamic industry sectors. While the sector continues to offer growth potential, it is crucial that the logistics infrastructure be modernized, including transportation routes, harbors and airports as well as warehouse capacity, which has currently reached its limits.

“CeMAT India’s broad portfolio offers visitors an excellent market overview. Exhibitors demonstrate solutions that are essential for automating and modernizing logistics processes in India,” said Wolfgang Pech, senior vice president at Deutsche Messe AG.

Exhibitors at CeMAT India include international companies such as Akapp Stemmann from Holland, Jungheinrich from Germany and Crown from the U.S. as well as Indian logistics companies like Hercules Hoists, Mangal Industries, Godrej & Boyle, Voltas and Maini Material Movement.

CeMAT India will also feature a conference program that addresses such topics as retail logistics, warehouse design and cold chain logistics.

CeMAT India will run December 17–20 as part of WIN INDIA, which includes four other industrial fairs: MDA INDIA, Surface INDIA, Industrial Automation INDIA und Industrial Supply INDIA. Deutsche Messe has used the WIN–World of Industry brand for more than 10 years in Turkey, where WIN EURASIA is the leading industrial fair in the Eurasian region.

WIN INDIA and the accompanying conference and events program are organized by Deutsche Messe AG and Hannover Milano Fairs India Pvt Ltd.
