Presenting weight, time/date and other data in scale transactions, the XR 8M and XR 12M bright-red LED remote displays include a 5- x 7-inch matrix that slides, scrolls or flashes an alphanumeric message. The scales display up to eight 4-inch or twelve 3.5-inch characters with readability at ranges up to 250 feet. For simple connection and communication with the controlling device—including indicators or PCs—the displays use auto-learn technology to process the data string of any instrument. The units also include four annunciators (gross, net, pounds and kilograms) and decimal point indication. During loading or unloading, the displays feature a full-width bar graph to verify process status. They are ideal for use indoors and outdoors, as well as with unattended truck scale systems, batching and process control, and weigh stations. Avery Weigh-Tronix, 800-368-2039, www.wtxweb.com.
