Steve Wozniak to deliver keynote at Manhattan Associates’ Momentum 2013 Conference

Apple co-founder to discuss how to infuse corporate culture with entrepreneurial spirit.

Manhattan Associates has announced that Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, will be one of the keynote speakers at Momentum 2013, scheduled for May 19-22 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

A Silicon Valley icon and philanthropist for the past three decades, Wozniak helped revolutionize the computing industry by designing one of the first mass-market personal computers. In 1976, Wozniak and Steve Jobs founded Apple Computer Inc. with Wozniak’s design of the Apple I computer. During the opening General Session, Wozniak will speak about how to infuse an entrepreneurial spirit in a corporate culture and his experience in fostering creativity and innovation in a technical environment.

“Steve Wozniak is a visionary and pioneer in connecting people with technology. From the original inspiration at Apple to his current innovations with virtualization, Wozniak imagines and understands the forces driving the convergence of people, commerce and technology. His message about technology as a key enabler of tomorrow’s commercial and cultural achievement aligns perfectly with our vision for supply chain commerce,” said Eddie Capel, president and chief executive officer, Manhattan Associates.

Several of the Momentum 2013 sessions will focus on best practices for harnessing the impact that omni-channel commerce is making in the supply chain. The sessions will also cover product innovation updates and insight from partners, industry analysts and other supply chain leaders. The conference is an opportunity to share insight with peers across industries and network with Manhattan experts as well as business leaders representing some of the world’s best-known brands. Momentum is a showcase for how the world’s leading supply chain leaders are experiencing the benefits of Manhattan’s Platform-based approach.
