PMMI and Koelnmesse GmbH join forces for new U.S. processing and packaging show
New event to focus on technologies serving the food and beverage marketplace.

Koelnmesse’s trade fairs include the Cologne-based Anuga FoodTec, the international supplier fair for the food and beverage industry.
The new event will focus on processing and packaging technologies serving the food and beverage marketplace.
“Koelnmesse, and its Anuga FoodTec show, are world leaders in food and beverage processing,” said Charles D. Yuska, president and CEO, PMMI. “With shows dating back nearly 100 years, the experience and recognition that Koelnmesse and Anuga bring to the table, particularly in Europe, is invaluable.”
The new show, which will launch in spring 2017, will provide an opportunity for manufacturers in this arena to discover the solutions that will help them grow their businesses.
“Working with this leading organization to bring a new food and beverage focused event to North America makes great sense for PMMI and ensures a world-class event,” Yuska added.

The 2015 edition of the Anuga FoodTec show launched Tuesday, March 24, in Cologne, Germany.
“This new multimedia platform is not only the best in the business from a technology standpoint, but its collection and variety of resources will have the eyes and ears of packaging and processing throughout the year,” says PMMI chairman Bill Crist, CEO, Kliklok-Woodman. “The robust platform PMG brings to the table will enhance our ability to serve as the convening authority of the processing and packaging industry.”
